FIXMIRO uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no analytics. What remains are a few technical cookies that WordPress needs to show you a page. This is the whole story.

The short version. Nothing on this site follows you, builds a profile of you, or reports your visit to an advertiser. You do not need to accept anything to read the site or to use the calculators.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep. Some are needed for the site to work at all. Others exist to recognise you later, on this site or on other sites. Only the first kind is used here.

What this site uses

Technical WordPress cookies

The site runs on WordPress. It sets a cookie when someone logs in to manage the site, which means me and nobody else. A normal visitor who only reads pages does not get one.

Page builder and cache

The tools that build and speed up the pages can store a small technical value so a page loads faster or displays correctly on your screen size. These values say nothing about who you are and are not shared with anyone.

The calculators

The tools on this site run entirely inside your browser. They set no cookie, they store nothing, and the values you type are never transmitted. Close the tab and everything you entered disappears.

What this site does not use

  • No Google Analytics or any other statistics tool.
  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No social media pixels from Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or anywhere else.
  • No cookies that follow you to other websites.

Nothing is loaded from other servers either

Beyond cookies, a page can give you away simply by fetching something from somewhere else. That does not happen here. The typefaces, the stylesheets and the scripts are all served from this site, so opening a page does not announce your visit to anyone.

How to control cookies yourself

Every browser lets you see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block them entirely. Look for privacy or site settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Blocking everything will not break this site, because nothing here depends on a cookie to work.

Changes

If a statistics tool, an embedded video or anything else that sets cookies is ever added, this page is updated first and a consent banner is added where the law requires one.
